Good Luck – Our final meet of the season will be the Summer Divisional Championships (August 1-3 @ Crawfordsville HS). This short course meet will give our swimmers a chance to wrap up the summer by racing for some hardware. An informational email was sent to all participating families. Good luck to our swimmers in action this weekend and GO WTSC!
Age Group State Recap – WTSC swimmers turned in several noteworthy performances at the Age Group State Championships led by Molly Memmer, who made the first Zone cut of her career in the 100 Freestyle. Grady Mosby turned in a new lifetime best swim in the 50 Freestyle and Ethan Rodgers recorded a team high 18th place finish in the 50 Breaststroke.
Futures Recap – Katie Countryman represented WTSC against some of the best swimmers in the Midwest at the USA Swimming Futures Championships in Madison, WI. Katie picked up new Speedo Sectional cuts in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke, swimming those events as bonus events, and recorded a top finish of 42nd place in the 50 Butterfly.
Last Practice – Our last official practice of the summer will be today, Thursday, July 31. As is our custom, we will take August off so our swimmers can get their school year off to a good start and everyone can recharge their batteries for another awesome season of WTSC swimming.
New Swimmer Evaluations – A new season means new members of our team! WTSC will hold evaluations for any new swimmers interested in joining our team on Tuesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 28 from 6-7pm at the North Central HS pool. Please spread the word about our evaluations. Interested families can click the “Contact Us” button on the WTSC homepage to speak with a club administrator for more information.
Short Course Startup – Our first day of practice for the 2025-26 short course season will be Tuesday, September 2. Additional information, including practice and meet schedules and registration information, will be available closer to our start date.
