WTSC Summertime Challenge – It is almost time for another great weekend of hosting and racing! The WTSC Summertime Challenge (June 13-15 @ North Central HS) kicks off this Friday afternoon and we can’t wait to put on another quality WTSC event. Entries for this event are closed and are available online and at the pool for review. And the warmup and session start schedule for the weekend is as follows:

  • Friday (all ages) – 4pm warmup; 5pm start
  • Saturday & Sunday AM (13&Older) – 7:30am; 8:30am
  • Saturday & Sunday PM (12&Under) – 11am; 12pm

As with all hosted events, we need our awesome parents and families as volunteers, and we appreciate your time, energy and dedication to our team. You can click the “Job Signup” button on the event page on our website to review your shifts. If you have questions about volunteer shifts, please speak with WTSC Business Manager J’nai Cochran and if you have questions about the meet please speak with your group coach. Thank you for your support of our team, GO WTSC, and we will see you at the pool.

RIVI Summer Spectacular – We will follow our hosted meet with a little fun-in-the-sun, the RIVI Summer Spectacular (June 19-22 @ Riveria Club). This outdoor meet will feature distance events on Thursday, the 50s “shootout” on Friday and traditional two-session events on Saturday and Sunday. Entries for this event are now closed, and additional information will be available closer to the meet. Please speak with your group coach if you have any questions.

Open Water State – Open water swimming is a unique experience only available in Indiana for a short time each year and WTSC swimmers can compete for some hardware at the Indiana Swimming Open Water State Championships (June 24 @ Geist Waterfront Park). Like any championship meet, qualifying times apply for this event and can be found on the event page on our website. Our commitment deadline is June 13. Additional information will be available closer to the event. Please speak with Coach Dave if you have questions.

BBSC Summer Splash – Our final “regular season” meet will be at the newly renovated Brownsburg HS pool as we attend the BBSC Summer Splash (July 11-13 @ Brownsburg HS). This meet will be the “last chance” opportunity for Divisional and State cuts and is appropriate and encouraged for all Senior, Gold, Silver and Bronze swimmers. Swimmers already qualified for the Age Group and Senior State meets should speak with their group coaches prior to committing to this meet. Our commitment deadline is June 23. Additional information will be available closer to the meet. Please speak with your group coach if you have any questions.
