SSC Summer Sizzler – We are looking forward to a new event this summer, the SSC Summer Sizzler (May 30-June 1 @ Hamilton Southeastern HS). Entries for this event are now closed and are available online and at the pool for review. This meet will feature a full three-day format with prelims/finals competition for swimmers 11&Older. 10&Under events, distance events and relays will be swum as timed finals. Additional information will be available closer to the event. Please speak with your group coach if you have any questions.
WTSC Summertime Challenge – We are looking forward to another great weekend of hosting and racing as we prepare for the WTSC Summertime Challenge (June 13-15 @ North Central HS). All active Senior, Gold, Silver and Bronze swimmers have been pre-entered. If you have conflicts and your swimmers cannot participate, please decommit or adjust your days of participation by Monday, June 2. This event is subject to the worker requirements in your registration packet and a job signup is now live on the event page. Click the “Job Signup” button to view the available shifts and make your selections. Additional information will be available closer to the event. Please speak with your group coach if you have any questions.
Parent Meetings – As we did in April, we will host informational “open house” meetings this week for any interested parents regarding the various aspects of being a member of our team. Coach Josh Saylor will lead a “wet side” meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27. And the WTSC board will lead a “dry side” meeting on Wednesday, May 28. Both meetings will be from 6-7pm in the pool classroom. Bring your questions and join us!
Meet Information & Deadlines – Deadlines have been set for two additional meets later this summer, the RIVI Summer Spectacular (June 19-22 @ Riveria Club) and the BBSC Summer Splash (July 11-13 @ Brownsburg HS). Both meets are appropriate and encouraged for all Senior, Gold, Silver and Bronze swimmers and the BBSC meet will be the “last chance” opportunity for Divisional and State cuts. Our in-house commitment deadline for RIVI is June 9 and June 23 for BBSC. Additional event information will be available closer to the dates of the meets, but please speak with your group coach if you have any questions.
WTSC Car Decals – Show your Washington Township Swim Club pride and support the team in the process. WTSC car decals are available for purchase by contacting WTSC Business Manager J'Nai Cochran at [email protected]. The decals are $8 each and payment can be applied directly to your team account.
Elsmore Swim Shop – With our first two meets of the season coming up fast, now is the time to visit our official equipment provider, Elsmore Swim Shop, to get whatever equipment and spirit wear you might need for competition and training.
