1. Deadlines- all applicable meet sign up deadlines have passed however we have a few social events right around the corner.

  • This Friday is our Fall Festival at Eagle Forge Farm in Westfield. This is a family friendly event- we hope all parents, swimmers, siblings and even close friends attend! Details include:
    • Pumpkin contest- bring your decorated/carved pumpkin to be entered
    • We will go rain or shine- we have shelter
    • It's a pitch-in event

  • Breakfast with Mark Gangloff and Kristen Heiss is on Saturday, October 18th. RSVP required by October 15th.
  • Our next meet opportunity will be our own November 21st to 23rd Holiday Championships Invite. The sign up deadline for that meet will open within the next week.

2. Rivi Invite this weekend!! Our first full invite of the season. The coaches look forward to what we can do in this early season competition. If our meet last Friday was any indication, it's going to be great!

  • The meet host has announced that the 200IM will be a limited event. This does not fundamentally affect any of our swimmers since everyone is signed up for several events each day, however know that you may or may not swim the 200IM depending on your seed and how many people sign in day of meet.
  • For those new to IUPUI, please build at least an extra 15 minutes into your schedule so that you can navigate parking and finding the pool at "the Nat".... that's on top of your regular 15 minutes early for sign in. Warm ups are 8:30am each day. We expect swimmers ready to swim on deck at 8:15am. Estimated end time is approx 1:30pm.
  • Meet uniform in effect for this meet. For now, that means the following:
    • Team suit: either our standard team suit or a plain black suit. For those that are waiting for their suit to come in from Kastaway, please do not buy an extra suit just for this weekend. Wear the closest matching suit possible. Returning swimmers should be set to go.
    • Black cap on Saturday, red cap on Sunday. You can purchase these with your group coach on deck- either cash, check, or billed to your account. Latex caps $5, silicone caps $12.
    • We are still waiting for our new team shirts to arrive. For now, match the cap color; black shirt on Saturday, red on Sunday.

3. Our Swim-A-Thon is now live!! Visit the team website homepage for more details! You should have received a system generated email that introduces some of the functionality and instructions.
