  • Please welcome our new coach to WTSC! Todd Griner will joining the team as the new Breaker coach, as well as senior & high school assistant. Coach Griner comes to us from Anderson Community Aquatic Club, where he was the head coach, directing all ages of the team from 10 & under to high school. Coach Griner is known as a great stroke technician as well as motivator.  Coach Mike Christy will rotate to the Crest group to work side by side with Coach Lauren Spencer. The Crest group will be starting some unique training oportunities, including Distance/IM days & gender days (girls with Coach Lauren, boys with Coach Mike). We look forward to building our staff of coaches and offering more opportunities for our swimmers.
  • Congrats to our swimmers this past weekend at our Kickoff Intrasquad. Results are still posted at the entrance to the pool area, as well as in the My Results section after you sign in. This was our biggest and best kickoff meet yet!
  • RIVI Invite this weekend!!
    • All age groups swim together, with warm ups at 8:30AM, meet start at 10AM. Swimmers need to arrive 20 minutes to sign in as well as check in with their coach. We anticipate the meet ending no later than 2PM (many will be finished racing closer to 1PM) giving families plenty of time before the Fall Party.
    • For those new to the IUPUI Natatorium, we recommend building in a little bit extra arrival time. Parking is via the adjacent parking garage. Parking rates are determined by IUPUI, not the host teams. Directions are included in the link above.
  • T-shirts are in!!
    • Everyone on the team will receive 2 WTSC team shirts.
    • Pick up days are this Thursday as well as next, 5:30 to 7:30PM.
    • Parents will be required to sign off on these shirts. The exception to this being seniors swimmers, who can pick up their own shirts.
    • Starting this weekend, everyone wears black shirt on the first day of the meet (Saturday) and red on the second day (Sunday)
    • Caps will be available for purchase as well on Thursday, though you can get those anytime from your coach. Latex caps are $5, silicone $12. We recommend picking up a few extra for the season, in particular for those swimmers that have especially long hair. Like our t-shirts, swimmers will be required to wear black cap on day 1, red cap on day 2. 
    • Wear your WTSC team suit or plain black suit at the meet. We will begin enforcing this at the Noblesville Invite. If you do not have a team suit yet, Kastaway Swimwear, immediately across the street from NCHS, sells our suits (and all swimming gear) at a 20% discount as long as you mention you swim WTSC.

  • Bring a friend to practice day-- Friday October 25th. We invite you to bring all water-safe friends to practice with you!! This day will be primarily a fun day for all practice groups.
