Deadlines:

• Sign up deadlines for both our own Kickoff Intrasquad Meet (on October 5th) and the Riviera Invite (the following weekend Saturday & Sunday, October 12th & 13th) are both this coming Friday, Sept. 20. Note you will need to finish your registration process in order to sign up for a swim meet. For returning swimmers, reception of this email does not mean that your swimmer is fully registered.

News

• Our fall Halloween & Hayride Festival is booked for Saturday, October 12th. This great event will be in the early evening hours, well after the conclusion of the first day of the Rivi Invite, which typically ends around 2PM on Saturday. With a relatively late 8:30AM warm up time on Sunday, we feel this meet/fall celebration combo will be a perfect fit for all. More details TBA.
• General reminder of standard operating procedure for all USA Swimming clubs: no parents on deck and particularly no parents allowed in the locker rooms. Additionally, this is NCHS rule. Parents, please use the restroom in the hallway immediately outside the pool area. In the event you need to pass along a message to your swimmer in the locker room, please seek out your coach.
• There will be two opportunities for parents to attend a new officials training clinic. Becoming an official is a great way to help the club and allow you to be on the pool deck with your kids during swim meets. Note in particular that officiating at our own invites satisfies your volunteer commitment.
