Other general notes

  • WTSC Championship Team Party is this Wednesday February 27th6PM.  We would greatly appreciate if you came to this party in support of our younger swimmers. TEAM WTSC needs our strong senior team representation! Food will be served.
  • We offer morning practices M, W, & Friday 5:15 to 6:45AM
  • We offer after school practices Monday through Thursday 3:15 to 5:30PM
  • Due to the meets, we will not offer Friday PM practices nor Saturday practices. If you are not swimming Divisionals, you should come anytime from 8AM to 4PM this Saturday to get a 90 minute workout in the warmup/cool down pool during the meet. The meet is at North Central and there will be plenty of space available for you. A workout will be posted on the diving well end wall. Work well independently or coordinate your time with a teammate or two! Additionally, check in with Coach Matt or Dennis when you arrive on Saturday.
  • If you are 14 & under and have AGS cuts, we ask that you strongly consider swimming with the Tsunami group (5:30 to 7:30PM Monday through Thursday this week, Monday through Friday next week). This will help you acclimate to that group, train for the correct meet, and most importantly, allow Age Group State Head Coach Davis to plan relays.
  • General rule of thumb: you do not do mornings the week of your meet (taper), but otherwise you should attend M,W, & F mornings. If you do not have a meet, you should be attending as many practices as possible, until our last day March 20- which again is team pool party 6pm.
  • First Day of Spring/Summer season is April 10th. Along with the upcoming seniors, I will be arranging some out-of-pool fun fitness activities during the off-season. Please stay tuned for these upcoming messages.

And last but certainly not least, I ask that you finish this winter season with maturity and enthusiasm. You are here by choice- I ask the same basic commitment level that you dedicated in high school season.  Exceptions and events certainly arise- I ask for communication during these times.  Successful swimming is built on year-long commitment and strong, positive attitudes. REPRESENT TEAM WTSC with PRIDE.
